Jo divides her time between SportsMed Sunshine Coast and Physiosync in Noosa Junction, where she is also the practice principal.
Jo graduated from the University of Otago in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She then went on the study a Post Graduate Diploma in acupuncture and Chinese medicine at Canterbury University.
Jo became a Titled Sports Physiotherapist in 2006, after completing a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. In 2014, as a scholarship student, Jo completed her PhD at the University of Sunshine Coast School of Sport and Exercise Medicine. Her project, endorsed by Swimming Australia, involved working closely with swimming athletes and investigated the precursors to injury in the swimmer's shoulder.
Will is a Senior Registrar in the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP) Specialist Training Program. He is awaiting the publication of his research before gaining his fellowship.
Will is the first full-time Sport and Exercise Physician working on the Sunshine Coast since 2009.
Will graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 and started work in Sport and Exercise Medicine in 2006 after working for five years at registrar level in Sydney, New South Wales, and London, England, in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery.
